Man convicted of 2010 killing jailed for two Lake Macquarie armed robberies

THIEF: CCTV footage shows Gary Anthony Markham fleeing Myer at Charlestown Square after stealing a number of items including Fitbit devices. Markham was found guilty of two robberies after a trial earlier this year and on Friday was jailed for a maximum of nine-and-a-half years.

A CONVICTED killer who held up two Lake Macquarie stores - including using an axe to terrify staff at a Toronto supermarket - as part of a 20-day crime spree in 2020 has been jailed for a maximum of nine-and-a-half years.
